Good questions, straight answers
Common questions from around the estate
Is the call out really free?
Yes. Booking a licensed plumber to look at the problem carries no fee at all, and the only figure you settle is the written price you sign off before the job starts.
How soon can you reach a job around Southpoint?
Our vans are usually already working the estate and the shops along Bunnerong Road, so one is seldom far off. Give us a ring and we will pin down an honest arrival window.
Our block still runs galvanised pipes. Can you help?
Absolutely. Once those old galvanised risers scale up inside, the top-floor flats lose pressure and the water stains, so we swap the spent length or lay new supply in copper.
Why do the drains around here back up in a downpour?
This low sand sheds water poorly and the table sits high, so a storm overwhelms the soakage and the tired clay mains push back through the yard gullies until the pipes catch up.
Can you swap hot water units across a whole strata block?
Yes. Where a stair of matched heaters starts dropping off one by one, we stage the change, fit the tempering valves and square away the owners-corporation approvals in one coordinated run.
Are your plumbers licensed and insured?
Every tradesperson on the job carries a current NSW plumbing licence and full liability cover under Lic #275278C, and the compliance certificates land with your invoice.
Do you answer after hours and on weekends?
A real plumber picks up at any hour, seven days, holidays too, and an urgent fault such as a split hose or a failed heater is quoted at the same rate overnight as in daylight.
Which suburbs do you cover?
Beyond the estate we run out to Eastgardens, Matraville, Banksmeadow, Pagewood and Maroubra, taking the same written pricing and the same lifetime workmanship cover to each.
Will I know the price before any work starts?
Every time. The plumber sizes up the job and writes down one all-in figure before lifting a tool, and that is exactly what lands on the invoice, with nothing tacked on.
Can you find a leak hidden in a wall or slab?
Yes. Listening equipment and pressure checks locate a concealed weep in the damp ground beneath these blocks, so we cut into only the spot that matters and mend the true source.
Do you clear blocked sewers under the older streets?
We do. The estate's original clay branches have crept apart in the loose sand and lost their grade, so we scope the line on camera, clear the choke, and reline only the broken run.
What should I do first if I smell gas?
Move everyone into open air, leave the switches and any flame be, and phone from outside. Turn the meter off only if it sits somewhere you can reach without breathing the fumes.
Do you fix a running or leaking toilet in a unit bathroom?
Yes, a cistern that keeps trickling or a base that seeps is bread-and-butter work, and we reseat, rewasher or re-seal it in the one visit before it wastes water for months.
Can you repair a cracked drain without digging up the yard?
On the cramped unit blocks here we cure a new liner inside the failed pipe, so the driveway and garden stay put and the mend outlasts any quick rod-through by years.
What payment options do you take?
Card and cash are both fine, and larger jobs can go on a payment plan, and whichever you choose the figure is locked in writing beforehand so nothing shifts at the end.
